Welcome to Sunday School Almighty God, Heavenly Father, you have blessed us with the joy and care of children: Give us calm strength and patient wisdom as we bring them up, that we may teach them to love whatever is just and true and good, following the example of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen. ‐"Prayer for the Care of Children," Book of Common Prayer, p. 829 |

Vestry:
From the Latin word vestire, meaning
to clothe, or to put on. Originally the word referred to the room
where the priest would vest. In the early days the local lay leaders
would gather with the priest as he vested to discuss the affairs of
the parish. Later, the word came to refer to the leaders, instead of
the room. At Trinity, our
vestry consists of twelve members, four of which are elected to
serve three year terms, by the congregation at the annual meeting
each January.
